I added two new shaman blogs to the blogroll (and to google reader) this week, and would like to share them with y’all.
Firstly, Ancestral Knowledge: A freshly-begun restoration shaman blog with a 10-man slant, written by a guildmate of Kae‘s – and featured by her already, which is how it came to my attention. Already a number of good reads up including:
- Why 10-mans can’t have nice things: a remarkably balanced and generous piece weighing in on the Invincible thing and surrounding issues.
- LFM: A guide to finding new guilds: er, guess what this is about? Especially pertinent because it’s written in the wake of his experience finding and joining Vortex.
- RP: Harvest Festival: I’ve not seen any RP posted on blogs that I read in a long time. Daring, I say, daring!
Secondly, Totemz: A brand-new elemental shaman blog, also written by a 10-man raider, and – well, go see for yourself. Only a couple of weeks old and loads of great content, mostly in the form of guides:
- For starters there’s a series of posts looking in detail at each totem school.
- A recap of the Basic Elemental Rotation and a guide to stat priorities and how they apply to enchants/gems.
- A quick-’n-simple FAQ to serve as an elemental introduction.
- How to setup your elemental UI including a look at using ForteXorcist and Satrina Buff Frames.
- And of course, a piece on the Invincible thing
And so on and so forth. So go take a look!

Oh dear, I think just flooded Totemz with trackbacks.
